Ananya Panday and Lakshya have come together for the film Chand Mera Dil, set to be released in 2024. Directed by Vivek Soni, the project was officially announced in November of the previous year. It is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and is expected to commence filming shortly. Recent updates indicate that the film will revolve around a college romance narrative, with Ananya and Lakshya portraying engineering students.

As reported, the filming of Chand Mera Dil, featuring Ananya Panday and Lakshy, is scheduled to start later this week. "The film has been in pre-production for the past three months, focusing on the story of engineering students played by Ananya and Lakshya. Vivek is set to begin shooting on March 15. The initial filming schedule will take place in Pune, where the production team has selected a prominent college as the primary location for the campus scenes," a source informed the publication.

The media report indicates that director Vivek Soni introduces a novel perspective on relationships. In his film Meenakshi Sundareshwar, he delved into the dynamics of a long-distance marriage, while Aap Jaisa Koi will present a narrative centered on age-gap romance. With his upcoming project featuring Ananya and Lakshya, he aims to explore the meaning of love for contemporary youth.

Chand Mera Dil represents Vivek's third partnership with Karan Johar. Their previous collaborations include Meenakshi Sundareshwar and Aap Jaisa Koi.
