Park Hyung-sik's character, Seo Dongju, finds himself in peril once again on Buried Hearts. He's facing yet another life-threatening situation, and at this point, we can pretty much expect him to survive and return even more resilient in episode 8. The big question is, how will Dongju manage to navigate through all these foes? Is he scheming something more significant? Here’s what you can anticipate in tonight's episode of Buried Hearts....

Is Seo Dongju faking his death?

Ildo (Lee Hae-young) learns that Dongju won’t survive the night. He’s the one who drugged the employee, trying to finish him off yet again. The doctors are working hard to bring Dongju back, but he’s fighting to stay alive on the ventilator. It’s unclear if he’s genuinely struggling or just putting on an act.

Jangseon is pressuring Gangcheon again, putting Ildo in a tough spot

Jangseon (Huh Joon-ho) argues that Cha Gukhui's (Kim Jung-nan) testimony isn't needed. He wants Gangcheon (Woo Hyeon) to grasp the seriousness of the risk of losing his daughter.

Meanwhile, Gangcheon makes it clear to Ildo that being Jangseon's favorite junior doesn't mean much to him. He encourages Ildo to face Jangseon directly, which really puts Ildo in a tough spot.

Eunnam (Hong Hwa-yeon) is feeling conflicted about Dongju and can't figure out why Jangseon wants him gone. Jangseon tells Ildo that Dongju must be eliminated, and Ildo vows to handle it properly.

Is Ildo just trying to win favor to gain control over Daesan, or has he teamed up with Dongju since things aren't going his way? Tune in tonight to find out!
