Brother teaser out: Jayam Ravi is all fun and frolic in Rajesh’s family drama

The teaser of Brother, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Jayam Ravi in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Saturday. The film is scheduled to hit big screens for Diwali.

Brother is an upcoming Tamil film which will be headlined by actor Jayam Ravi. The film is helmed by filmmaker Rajesh M in his maiden collaboration with the actor. Brother is scheduled to hit theatres for the occasion of Diwali in October.

Ahead of this, the makers of Brother unveiled the teaser of the film. Just like Rajesh’s previous film, Brother is also touted to be full of fun and frolic and will be a family commercial entertainer. The teaser begins with Jayam Ravi's Karthik character being asked what his aim in life is, to which he says it is his wish to have his stomach full, get eight hours of sleep, and talk his heart out. After introducing all the characters, we see all elements of fun in the teaser, with comedy, song-and-dance, and drama.

Besides Jayam Ravi, the film also features actors Priyanka Arul Mohan, Bhumika Chawla, VTV Ganesh, Natraj Subramanian, Rao Ramesh, Achyuth Kumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Seetha, Sathish Krishnan, MS Bhaskar, Suresh Chakravarthy, Vriddhi Visha, and Master Ashwin in prominent roles.

The post-theatrical streaming rights of Brother have been bagged by ZEE5, and will also be available on OTTplay Premium. Once the film finishes the theatrical run, the film will be made available on the platform.

The film is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, with Harris Jayaraj scoring the music for the film. The makers recently announced that the dubbing for the film has been completed and the post-production phase in full swing. It is shot by cinematographer Vivekanand Santhosam and edited by Ashish Joseph.

Brother will clash at the box office with Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran and Kavin-starrer Bloody Beggar.
