Brother OTT release date: When and where to stream Jayam Ravi’s family drama

Brother, the recently released Tamil film starring Jayam Ravi in the lead role, has got an OTT release date. While we had earlier reported that ZEE5 has bagged the post-theatrical release, the film will now premiere on November 29, the streaming platform announced on Wednesday.

Brother is a Jayam Ravi-starrer film which hit theatres on October 31. The family drama is directed by M Rajesh, in his maiden collaboration with the actor. Now, after the theatrical run for almost one month, Brother has gotten the OTT release date.
ZEE5 has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. Now, the streaming platform has announced that Brother will begin streaming from November 29. It will also be available on OTTplay Premium app.
Besides Jayam Ravi, the film also features actors Priyanka Arul Mohan, Bhumika Chawla, VTV Ganesh, Natraj Subramanian, Rao Ramesh, Achyuth Kumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Seetha, Sathish Krishnan, MS Bhaskar, Suresh Chakravarthy, Vriddhi Visha, and Master Ashwin in prominent roles.
What is Brother plot
Brother revolves around a trouble-inviting brother, who is sent to his sister’s home to live with her strict in-laws. While the sister wishes to rectifies her brother’s behaviour, it also earns the wrath of her husband’s family causing a rift.
The film released along with Amaran and Bloody Beggar in theatres for Diwali. The film opened to mixed reviews, and did not receive the love that Rajesh’s previous films had. Further, it was overshadowed by the success of Amaran starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi.
Brother is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, with Harris Jayaraj scoring the music for the film. The makers recently announced that the dubbing for the film has been completed and the post-production phase is in full swing. It is shot by cinematographer Vivekanand Santhosam and edited by Ashish Joseph.
