Boys is a 2003 Tamil film starring actors Siddharth and Genelia D’Souza in the lead roles. The film is a coming-of-age drama, which marked the debut of the lead actors. Along with them, the film also stars Bharath, Manikandan, S Thaman and Nakkhul in their acting debuts.

Boys revolves around five boys among which one of them falls in love with a girl. With their respective parents not accepting their marriage, the couple elope along with their friends and try to meet their ends meet. Boys explores the lives of young adults, and one of the earlier films which concentrated on youngsters’ lives. AR Rahman, a regular collaborator of Shankar, has composed the music for the film. All the songs from the album have been chartbusters.

The dialogues for Boys were written by late Sujatha, who also co-wrote the film with Shankar. Backed by AM Rathnam, the film also starred late comedian Vivekh in a prominent supporting role. His role as Mangalam, was widely recognised in the actor's filmography.
Boys was shot by multiple cinematographers Ravi K Chandran, KV Anand and V Manikandan. The film was edited by VT Vijayan and runs for 177 minutes. Siddharth and Genelia went on to pair up in Telugu film Bommarillu and became known for their onscreen chemistry.
