Emraan Hashmi's newest film Ground Zero has been facing difficulties at the Box Office even more than Akshay Kumar's Kesari: Chapter 2. The film debuted to just Rs. 1 crore on its opening Friday and has continued to generate single-digit earnings since then. Indeed, the Excel Entertainment-supported film did not even make Rs. 10 crore during its opening weekend, suggesting yet another significant failure. Ground Zero first weekend Box Office collection

Azhar actor Emraan Hashmi's Ground Zero has persisted in generating single-digit earnings. The film garnered Rs. 2. 15 crore on its initial Sunday, as reported by Sacnilk. It debuted with Rs. 1. 15 crore on Friday and collected Rs. 1. 9 crore on Saturday. The slight increase and total earnings of only Rs. 5. 20 crore at the Box Office (which is virtually in single digits) during its opening weekend indicates that this film is destined to be a flop.

Kesari 2 the winner this week

Akshay Kumar's Kesari: Chapter 2 is the winner at the Box Office this week. The movie has finally managed to cross Rs. 100 crore mark, but worldwide.

What is Ground Zero all about?

Ground Zero tells the story of BSF officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey (portrayed by Why Cheat India actor Emraan Hashmi). Centered around the 2001 Parliament attack and the 2002 Akshardham attack, the narrative focuses on his quest to capture Jaish-e-Mohammed leader Ghazi Baba.

In addition to Kesari 2 and Sunny Deol's Jaat, Emraan Hashmi's Ground Zero encountered competition from Pratik Gandhi-led Phule and the re-release of the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna featuring Aamir Khan and Salman Khan in theatres.

Regarding Emraan Hashmi, the actor is set to appear in the sequel to Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai alongside Yami Gautam. The actor has also revealed Awarapan 2, all of which are slated for upcoming releases.
