Good Bad Ugly box office collection day 7: Adhik Ravichandran's film, Good Bad Ugly, featuring Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan, premiered in theaters on April 10. Despite experiencing some fluctuations during its first week, the movie has performed robustly. As reported by Sacnilk, it has garnered a net collection of ₹112 crore in India to date.

The trade website indicates that "Good Bad Ugly" generated approximately ₹4.32 crore net in India on Wednesday, raising its total earnings to ₹112.62 crore net. The film recorded an occupancy rate of 21.92% on that day. Starring Ajith and Trisha, it earned ₹15 crore on Monday but experienced a decline on Tuesday, with net earnings of ₹7 crore. Nevertheless, it has surpassed the ₹100 crore milestone in India and is nearing ₹200 crore globally, establishing itself as the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2025, surpassing both "Dragon" and "Vidaamuyarchi."

Recent controversy around the songs

Ilaiyaraaja issued a legal notice to the producers of Good Bad Ugly, Mythri Movie Makers, for utilizing his music in the film without obtaining the necessary permissions. In response, producer Y Ravi Shankar informed Hindustan Times, “We have secured permission from all relevant music labels for the songs featured in the film. The rights are held by these labels, and we have adhered to the proper procedures by obtaining NOCs from them. We have acted in accordance with the regulations.” Ilaiyaraaja is seeking a formal apology and ₹5 crore in compensation for the unauthorized use of three of his songs in the movie.
