The recently launched Telugu film Game Changer, featuring Ram Charan in the principal role, has amassed a total of Rs 112.76 crore as it approaches the conclusion of its first week since its debut on January 10. Having successfully entered the 100-crore club, the film is anticipated to gain further traction in the upcoming weekend.

Ram Charan's first leading role following the success of his internationally celebrated film RRR is in Game Changer, directed by Shankar. The film premiered in theatres on January 10 and is approaching the conclusion of its first week at the box office. To date, it has garnered Rs 112.76 crore in India across all languages. With the weekend approaching, Game Changer is anticipated to experience a rise in its earnings.

Of the total Rs 112 crore, a significant portion, exceeding Rs 70 crore, originates from the Telugu market, while the Hindi market follows as the second largest contributor. Produced by Dil Raju, Game Changer received mixed reviews upon its release; however, it is noteworthy that it performed significantly better than Shankar’s previous film, Indian 2, which faced considerable criticism.

Game Changer story and cast

Game Changer is directed by Shankar, and stars Kiara Advani as the female lead. The others part of the cast includes Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram and Samuthirakani.

The film stars Ram Charan in dual roles, and revolves around a dedicated IAS officer who takes on a corrupt political system headed by a politician. The post-theatrical streaming rights of Game Changer have been bagged by Prime Video. The technical crew consists of music composed by Thaman S, cinematography handled by Tirru and editing by Shameer Muhammed and Ruben.
