Sikandar's Worldwide Box Office Collection on Day 5: Despite not garnering favorable reviews or significant acclaim from critics, Salman Khan's film Sikandar continues to perform steadily at the box office. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film has surpassed the ₹160 crore milestone within just five days, making it the fifth-highest-grossing Indian film of the year.

Sikandar worldwide box office collection day 5

On its fifth day of release, Sikandar's production company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, reported that the film earned ₹8.28 crore gross in India and ₹3 crore gross internationally. This brings its total worldwide gross to ₹169.78 crore after five days. If the current trend continues, Sikandar is expected to exceed the ₹200 crore mark globally by Monday.

Sikandar's road ahead on the box office

Future Prospects for Sikandar at the Box Office: However, the ongoing decline in earnings suggests that the action drama may face challenges in reaching the ₹300 crore threshold, which would be disappointing for a star of Salman Khan's stature. The film's lukewarm reception from critics has negatively impacted its performance, and its opening was less than impressive, even with the advantage of an Eid release, a period typically favorable for Salman Khan's films.

In contrast, the Malayalam film L2: Empuraan, which premiered three days prior to Sikandar, has already surpassed ₹250 crore at the global box office and continues to outperform Sikandar.

Nonetheless, Sikandar has outperformed one notable South Indian film from this year. It has now surpassed the earnings of the Tamil sleeper hit Dragon, which concluded its box office run at ₹150 crore. This positions Sikandar as the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, trailing only behind Chhaava, L2: Empuraan, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, and Game Changer. The film is also expected to surpass Ram Charan's Game Changer this weekend.

Sikandar features a talented cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Smita Patil, and is directed by AR Murugadoss.
