Sky Force box office collection day 3: Following a somewhat tepid debut, Akshay Kumar and newcomer Veer Pahariya's aerial action film Sky Force soared to new heights. The movie experienced unexpectedly strong growth on Saturday and sustained that momentum into Sunday, concluding its opening weekend on a highly encouraging note. Should Sky Force successfully navigate the challenges of Monday, it stands a strong possibility of enjoying a robust box office performance throughout its run.

Sky Force box office collection day 3

Sky Force generated ₹12.25 crore on its opening day, which is somewhat below expectations for a film of its magnitude. However, it significantly recovered with an impressive 80% increase on Saturday, earning ₹22 crore. As reported by Sacnilk, the film further accumulated ₹27.50 crore on Sunday, concluding its opening weekend with a robust domestic nett total of ₹61.75 crore. The producers of Sky Force have stated that the film garnered over ₹40 crore in its initial two days, suggesting that the final figure for the opening weekend may approach ₹70 crore.

Internationally, Sky Force has performed reasonably well as well, amassing $600K in its first two days, contributing over ₹5 crore to its overall earnings. It is important to highlight that, similar to most films featuring Akshay Kumar, Sky Force is anticipated to generate the majority of its revenue within India.

The film's success can be attributed to favourable word of mouth and positive reviews from critics. If Sky Force can maintain its momentum and avoid a significant decline on its first Monday, it is likely to perform well throughout its first week. This crucial Monday performance will be pivotal in determining its total earnings over its theatrical run.

All about Sky Force

Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, Sky Force draws inspiration from the Sargodha airbase assault during the Indo-Pakistani air conflict of 1965. In addition to Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, the film features prominent performances by Sara Ali Khan and Sharad Kelkar, along with a cameo appearance by Nimrat Kaur.
