L2 Empuraan box office collection on day 12: Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and featuring Mohanlal, L2 Empuraan premiered in theaters on March 27 and has performed well despite facing competition from Sikandar. As reported by Sacnilk, the film has generated a net collection of ₹100.10 crore in India to date.

The trade website indicates that L2 Empuraan generated an estimated net revenue of ₹1.75 crore on Monday, bringing its total net earnings in India to ₹100.10 crore. Although the film's collections have decreased compared to its opening week, the figures remain remarkable, especially considering it is now in its second week.

The sequel to the 2019 film Lucifer has achieved significant success, making it the highest-grossing Malayalam film with over ₹250 crore in global earnings. It debuted with a net collection of ₹21 crore in India and accumulated ₹88.25 crore net during its first week. Last Friday, it earned ₹2.9 crore, followed by collections of ₹3.35 crore and ₹3.85 crore over the weekend.


Prithviraj also shared on his Instagram that L2 Empuraan is among the few Malayalam films to surpass ₹80 crore gross in Kerala and is the first to achieve a worldwide share of ₹100 crore.

In L2 Empuraan, Mohanlal reprises his role as Stephen Nedumpally, also known as Khureshi Ab’raam. With the assistance of Zayed Masood (played by Prithviraj), he momentarily steps away from dismantling drug syndicates to focus on a pressing issue at home. His brother, Chief Minister Jathin Ramdas (Tovino Thomas), has allied with an extremist (Abhimanyu Singh), and it is up to Stephen to intervene. His sister, Priyadarshini (Manju Warrier), also lends her support throughout this endeavor.

The film features a talented cast, including Andrea Tivadar, Jerome Flynn, Indrajith Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kishore, Nyla Usha, and Eriq Ebouaney, with cameo appearances by Rick Yune and Pranav Mohanlal. L2 Empuraan stands out as one of the most expensive productions in the Malayalam film industry.
