The report indicates that Game Changer garnered ₹10 crore on its fifth day of release, bringing the cumulative total to ₹105.44 crore net in India. The film experienced a remarkable opening day, amassing ₹51 crore net. However, it struggled to sustain this momentum, resulting in a significant drop in earnings over the weekend. On its second day, Game Changer secured ₹21.6 crore net, followed by ₹15.9 crore net on Sunday. The trend continued on Monday, with collections further declining to ₹7.65 crore net in India.

More details

On its fifth day of release, Game Changer achieved an overall occupancy rate of 34.13 percent in its Telugu screenings. The film is encountering significant competition from another major release, Daaku Maharaaj, featuring Balakrishna, which premiered on January 12. Additionally, Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to perform well even after a month in theatres, with the production team announcing the release of an additional 20 minutes of footage starting January 17.

A review excerpt from the Hindustan Times stated: “Karthik Subbaraj has crafted the narrative for Game Changer; perhaps he aimed for something more innovative. However, the final product, while enjoyable, appears to draw heavily from Shankar’s earlier films, including references to Muqabla and Mudhalvan (Oke Okkadu). Unlike the 1990s, audiences in 2025 can discern when the boundaries of logic are being stretched.”

In addition to Ram and Kiara, the film features notable performances from Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Sunil, Brahmanandam, and Vennela Kishore in significant roles.
