Badass Ravikumar vs Loveyapa box office report: Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor made their theatrical debuts with the release of Loveyapa, alongside Himesh Reshammiya's film Badass Ravikumar, last Friday. Although Badass Ravikumar emerged as the frontrunner over the weekend, both films garnered less than ₹1 crore net in India on their first Monday.

Badass Ravikumar vs Loveyapa box office collection

Badass Ravikumar, which had a stronger debut than Loveyapa at the box office, garnered ₹6.15 crore during its opening weekend, while the Junaid-Khushi film achieved a collection of ₹4.55 crore.

Badass Ravikumar commenced with a collection of ₹2.75 crore, accumulating ₹2 crore and ₹1.4 crore over the weekend. In contrast, Loveyapa started with ₹1.15 crore, earning ₹1.65 crore and ₹1.75 crore throughout the weekend. Nevertheless, both films exhibited comparable performance on their first Monday, with Badass Ravikumar earning ₹53 lakh and Loveyapa netting ₹47 lakh, based on preliminary estimates.

Badass Ravikumar posed significant competition to Loveyapa, unexpectedly outperforming the latter. Trade analysts had anticipated this outcome on the opening day, indicating to HT that the film was particularly resonating well in tier-2 and tier-3 markets as well as single-screen theaters. However, the onset of the week appears to have equalized the competition.

Directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, Badass Ravikumar serves as a spin-off of the 2014 film The Xpose. The film features prominent performances by Prabhu Deva, Kirti Kulhari, Simona J, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sanjay Mishra, and Johnny Lever. Additionally, Advait Chandan helms Loveyapa, which is a remake of Pradeep Ranganathan’s 2022 Tamil film Love Today.
