Bougainvillea Box Office Collection Day 2: The psychological thriller which stars Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi in lead roles and Fahadh Faasil in a cameo appearance, made a sensational opening at the box office. The Amal Neerad directorial crossed the Rs. 6 crore mark with its worldwide box office collection on Day 1. However, recent updates suggest that Bougainvillea witnessed a dip in its collection on its Day 2 at the theatres.

If the recent updates are to be believed, Bougainvillea witnessed a dip in its box office collections on Day 2. The mixed reviews have clearly made an impact on the performance of Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi’s film. Even though there is a dip in the collections on Day 2, trade experts suggest that the movie still succeeded in collecting over Rs 3 crore at the box office. For the uninitiated, Bougainvillea made over Rs 6.88 crore from the worldwide box office, on Day 1.

In that case, the total box office collection of the film has already surpassed the Rs. 10 crore mark at the worldwide box office. It is indeed an excellent collection for the Amal Neerad directorial, which is not headlined by a superstar. Even though Fahadh Faasil makes an appearance in the film, the actor is reportedly limited to an under-developed cameo. However, the box office collections of Bougainvillea are expected to improve during the weekends.

If things proceed at the same rate, Amal Neerad’s psychological thriller might cross the Rs. 20 crore mark at the worldwide box office, by the time it completes first weekend (4 days) of its release. However, Bougainvillea might witness a massive dip in collections on its first Monday (Day 5) in the theatres, as the movie has been receiving mixed reactions from the common audiences. In that case, it is also safe to assume that the multi-starrer, which stars Sharaf U Dheen, Srindaa, and Veena Nandakumar in key roles, might end up as an average grosser.
