Bottle Radha, the upcoming Tamil film starring actors Guru Somasundaram and Sanchana Natarajan in the lead roles, is all set to hit theatres very soon. The film will be released on December 20, the makers of the film announced on social media on Wednesday. The film is written and directed by Dhinakaran Sivalingam in his debut.

On Wednesday, the makers of the upcoming Tamil film Bottle Radha announced that the film is slated for a theatrical release on December 20. The film will be coming along with Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai - Part 2.
Bottle Radha stars Guru Somasundaram, and Sanchana Natarajan in the lead roles. Apart from them, others part of the cast include actors John Vijay, Maaran, Antony, Pari Elavazhagan, Arumugavel, Abhi Ramaiyah, J.P. Kumar, K.S. Karuna Prasad, Malathi Ashok Nawin, Suhasini Sanjeev, Siranjivi, Oviyar Sow. Senthil, Naveen George Thomas, Aneesha, Madhavi Raj, Kaala Kumar (Jaya Perumal), Anbarasi, and Shegar Narayana.
The film is written and directed by Dhinakaran Sivalingam in his directorial debut. The technical crew consists of cinematography by Roopesh Shaji, with editing handled by E. Sangathamizhan. Sean Roldan has scored the music for Bottle Radha. T.N. Arunbalaji and filmmaker Pa. Ranjith are backing the film under the banner of Neelam Productions.

Previously, the makers had released the teaser of the film. Bottle Radha revolves around the titular man, played by Guru Somasundaram, who is grappling with drinking issues. His wife is played by Sanchana, who is irked by her husband’s behaviour. The man's alcoholism invites a lot of problems in the couple’s life.
The film is billed to be a comedy drama. The filming of Bottle Radha took place in several pockets of Chennai.
Meanwhile, Guru Somasundaram will also be seen in the upcoming Malayalam film Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure, which is directed by Mohanlal, who is also starring in the lead role.
