Bottle Radha, the newly launched Tamil film featuring actor Guru Somasundaram in the principal role, has officially premiered on OTT platforms. The film can now be streamed on Aha Tamil. To view the film, a subscription to OTTplay Premium is required.

Bottle Radha out on OTT

Actors Guru Somasundaram and Sanchana Natrajan starred in the principal roles of Bottle Radha, a Tamil drama film scheduled for release in 2025 that centers on the life of an alcoholic. The film premiered in theaters in January and is now preparing for its debut on an OTT platform following its theatrical release.

Aha Tamil has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for the film, as previously reported. "Bottle Radha" is now accessible for streaming on both the Aha Tamil platform and the OTTplay Premium application. The film marks the directorial debut of Dhinakaran Sivalingam, who also penned the script. Cinematography is handled by Roopesh Shaji, while the musical score is composed by Sean Roldan. The editing is managed by E Sangathamizhan. The project is supported by TN. Arunbalaji and filmmaker Pa. Ranjith under the Neelam Productions banner.

In addition to Sanchana and Guru Somasundaram, the cast includes John Vijay, Maaran, Antony, Pari Elavazhagan, Arumugavel, Abhi Ramaiyah, J.P. Kumar, K.S. Karuna Prasad, Malathi Ashok Nawin, Suhasini Sanjeev, Siranjivi, Oviyar Sow. Senthil, Naveen George Thomas, Aneesha, Madhavi Raj, Kaala Kumar (Jaya Perumal), Anbarasi, and Shegar Narayana.

What is Bottle Radha about?

Bottle Radha centers on a troubled plumber whose severe alcoholism devastates both his own life and that of his family. Following a pivotal day, he finds himself at a rehabilitation center managed by John Vijay, and the remainder of the film explores the transformation of his life.

Upon its release, the film received predominantly positive reviews, with particular acclaim for Guru Somasundaram's performance. An OTTplay review described it as "Heartfelt and raw," highlighting that Bottle Radha presents a potent mix of humor and drama, offering a gripping narrative about addiction and self-discovery.
