JP Dutta on Border 2
Speaking with the tabloid, JP Dutta reflected on Border's success and called it the biggest milestone of his life. The senior filmmaker added that the movie has ensured him 'immortality.' Talking about Border 2, Dutta revealed why he isn't directing the movie.
"I have never directed something I haven’t written. I’ve always been a writer-director. This story was written by Nidhi [Dutta, writer-producer]," he said. For the uninitiated, director Anurag Singh has come on board to direct the sequel to Border.
Opening up about new generation actors joining the film alongside Sunny, he added, "With Sunny, it has always been a dream run, and now with new blood Varun and Diljit [playing] celebrated heroes from the Armed Forces, it will be great."
