Boomer Uncle, the Tamil comedy-drama film which features Yogi Babu in the lead role, was released in theatres on March 29, 2024. The movie, which is directed by Swadees MS and written by Thillairaja, earned mixed reviews from the critics and ended up as a major failure at the box office. As per the recent reports, Boomer Uncle is now finally gearing up for its OTT release, on Aha Tamil.

Boomer Uncle OTT release – When and Where to watch

According to the latest updates, Boomer Uncle is gearing to have its OTT release on the popular OTT platform Aha Tamil, on June 7, 2024, Friday. The famous OTT platform took to their official social media handles and officially announced the update with a special post, recently. " Thozhargalay assemble... Boomer Uncle premiering on Aha Tamil from June 7,” reads the post on Aha Tamil official Instagram handle. If the recent updates are to be believed, Boomer Uncle will be available for streaming only in Tamil, for now. The movie will be simultaneously available on OTTplay Premium, for streaming.

Boomer Uncle – Plot, Cast, and Crew

Boomer Uncle revolves around Nesam (Yogi Babu) who heads to his neglected ancestral property to finalise the divorce agreement with his estranged foreigner wife, Amy. However, Amy is on a mission to find the secrets behind Nesam’s late father’s scientific experiments. Meanwhile, Nesam’s former domestic helps also enter the property with hidden agenda. When the group arrives at the mansion, they are joined by a woman’s hologram (Oviya), and later a monster (Robo Shankar).

Yogi Babu, Oviya, Satish Mohan, Robo Shankar, Madhan Bob, Sona Heiden, KPY Bala, and others played pivotal roles in the film, which stars MS Bhaskar in a special appearance. Subash Dhandabani is the director of photography. Dharma Prakash and Santhan Anebajagane composed the songs and background score. Boomer Uncle is produced by Anbu and Karthik K. Thillai, under the banner Anka Media.
