Upon the release of Bond Ravi, the lead actor Pramod Panju remarked that this action drama, which prominently featured a love story, was his most audience-friendly film, particularly due to its character development and stunts. This film marked the directorial debut of Prajwal SP, pairing Pramod with Kajal Kunder, and it premiered in theatres in December 2022. Although the performances of the lead duo received praise, critics pointed out the shortcomings of Prajwal's script.

Over two years following its theatrical release and in the absence of a streaming partner, Life Line Films has made the film available for free streaming. On March 7, the film "Bond Ravi" was released on the official YouTube channel of the production house, featuring Kannada audio accompanied by English subtitles, marking its world digital premiere.

In the film, Pramod portrays Ravi, a hardened inmate with a resilient facade, who finds himself incarcerated once more after agreeing to impersonate a prominent political figure in a murder trial. Although he has never engaged in criminal activity himself, Ravi is well-acquainted with prison life, having spent numerous stints behind bars.

Ravi's notoriety within the criminal underworld is well-established, earning him the moniker 'Bond Ravi'. However, an unforeseen development occurs when he develops feelings for Shwetha, a call center worker, through their phone conversations. For the first time, Ravi experiences the warmth of caring for someone. Yet, with his troubled history constantly looming, can he abandon his Bond persona and embark on a new beginning with Shwetha? Or will the shadows of his past inevitably resurface? This encapsulates the essence of the story of Bond Ravi.

Pramod, who was last featured in Bhuvanam Gaganam, released in February of this year, is preparing to return as Baachi Mannar in Salaar: Shourangya Parva. The actor recently disclosed that he received an offer for a role in Pushpa 2: The Rule; however, he chose to decline it. He expressed his reluctance to take on a character whose primary function would be to be defeated by the hero, especially since he is currently portraying leading roles in Kannada cinema.
