In a recent interview, Aamir provided an update regarding a potential film featuring both Salman and Shah Rukh.

Are we getting a film ft. Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan?

During the In-Conversation segment at the Red Sea Film Festival held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Aamir Khan discussed the possibility of collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. He revealed that approximately six months prior, the three of them had a conversation about this very topic, noting that he was the one who initiated the discussion. Aamir expressed that it would indeed be unfortunate if they did not come together for a film.

Salman and Shah Rukh expressed mutual agreement regarding their desire to collaborate on a film together, stating that it is essential for the three of them to work on a project. Aamir expressed optimism that this collaboration would materialize soon, emphasizing the necessity of finding the appropriate story and script, and he conveyed his eagerness for the endeavour.

Aamir Khan on Sitaare Zameen Par

During the same festival, Aamir provided updates on Sitaare Zameen Par, informing Deadline that the film is set to enter post-production later this month, with plans for a release in the middle of the upcoming year.

He described the film as a sequel to the 2007 production Taare Zameen Par while clarifying that it will not include the same characters.

“It features an entirely new cast, with a completely different situation and storyline. Thematically, it serves as a sequel to Taare Zameen Par,” he stated.

Genelia Deshmukh is set to take on a significant role in the upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par. According to a report from Pinkvilla, "Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na," which was produced by Aamir Khan, features him in the lead role for this new project. Genelia has expressed her enthusiasm for this opportunity, marking her first collaboration with Aamir. The casting is deemed ideal, aligning well with the requirements of the script and the character's development.

Aamir Khan's last theatrical release

In a related note, Aamir Khan was last featured in Advait Chandan's Laal Singh Chaddha, where he portrayed the lead character in the Indian adaptation of the acclaimed Hollywood film Forrest Gump.

In Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir shared the screen with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh, both of whom were his co-stars in the 2009 film 3 Idiots.

Despite the star-studded cast, the film did not achieve significant success at the box office, having been released in 2022.
