Bogotá: The Tale of the Lost City plot
Bogotá: City of the Lost is a South Korean crime flick featuring a young guy named Guk-hee, played by Song Joong-ki. After the Asian financial crisis, he relocates to Bogotá, Colombia. As he tries to find his footing, he gets tangled up with local characters like a customs broker (Lee Hee-joon) and a key player in the Korean community (Kwon Hae-hyo). In his struggle to survive and improve his situation, he dives headfirst into the city's risky black market.
Bogotá: The Cast of City Of The LostThe movie stars Song Joong-ki, Lee Hee-joon, Kwon Hae-hyo, Park Ji-hwan, Cho Hyun-chul, and Kim Jong-soo. Lee Seong-jae and Hwang Gi-seok handle the cinematography, while Kim Sun-min takes care of the editing. The music is composed by Jeong Hyun-su.
Kim Seong-je directs the film, with the script written by Hwang Seong-gu and Kim Seong-je. Production is managed by Shin Beom-su and Park Seong-il.

In a chat with News1 Korea, shared by Soompi, Song Joong-ki talked about the tough parts of portraying Gukhee in Bogotá: City of the Lost. He mentioned, “This is the first time I’ve played a character whose story spans from their 20s to 30s. The emotional shifts in this role are the most significant I’ve experienced, and that made it really fascinating."
