Zahan Kapoor, born on March 11, 1992, is the grandson of the renowned actor Shashi Kapoor. He hails from a prominent Bollywood lineage and is the son of Kunal Kapoor and Sheena Sippy. On his paternal side, his great-grandfathers include the esteemed actors Prithviraj Kapoor and Geoffrey Kendal. Additionally, he shares a familial connection with Bollywood stars Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, and Ranbir Kapoor, who are his second cousins.

Zahan commenced his professional journey by collaborating with theatre director Sunil Shanbag in a workshop designed for children. Subsequently, he engaged in various theatrical productions and related activities. His significant breakthrough came in 2002 with Hansal Mehta’s film Faraaz.

He also featured in the play Siachen, which was penned by Aditya Rawal and directed by Makarand Deshpande. This production depicted the harrowing survival narrative of Indian soldiers trapped on the Siachen Glacier.
