Jaat is an upcoming action thriller film produced by People Media Factory, marking the Hindi directorial debut of Gopichand Malineni, who also wrote the screenplay. Seven years after the traumatic events of Chhorii, Sakshi and her daughter Ishani are living a peaceful life. Due to a rare condition, Ishani must remain in darkness at all times, as sunlight is harmful to her. Nevertheless, she remains a brave and cheerful child. One night, while Ishani is asleep, a ghostly figure enters her room and begins to follow her like a possessed doll. When Sakshi returns, she discovers that Ishani has vanished. In a desperate plea for help, she turns to Inspector Samar. Their search leads them back to the village Sakshi had sworn never to revisit, where ancient terrors lie hidden within the twisting sugarcane fields. A sinister force drives them apart, and Sakshi encounters someone she believed to be dead, only to find them unconscious. The villagers worship a malevolent deity in an underground cave, where Sakshi awakens. Daasi, the shape-shifting priestess, reveals that Ishani is to be sacrificed in three days. To save her daughter, Sakshi must disrupt the ritual without delay.
Kesari Chapter 2 – April 18 (theatrical)
Historical drama Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh is set to premiere shortly, produced by a team that includes Karan Singh Tyagi, Adar Poonawalla, Karan Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari. The screenplay was crafted by Karan Singh Tyagi and Amritpal Singh Bindra, with Marijke de Souza, Somen Mishra, and Vedant Baali contributing as co-producers.
