Guddu Dhanos' 2000 film Bichhoo is one of the most memorable films. Starring Bobby Deol, Rani Mukerji, and Ashish Vidyarthi in the lead roles, the movie tells the story of a contract killer who is on a mission to murder a family but falls in love in the process. The film opened to mixed reviews when it opened in theatres 24 years back. If you missed watching this gripping story on the big screen, you can revisit the film on an OTT platform.

Where to watch Bichhoo on OTT as it clocks 24 years?

Helmed by Guddu Dhanos, Bicchoo is available for streaming on ShemarooMe. The film's storyline is about a contract killer Jeeva (Bobby Deol) who becomes a contract killer after the death of his family and girlfriend. He turns into a different human being in the process as he meets Kiran (Rani Mukerji) and takes her under his wing so that she can avenge her family. The story sheds light on the emotional and heartfelt needs of a human being.

In an old interview with Bollywood Hungama, Bobby Deol talked about his film Bichhoo. The actor said, “When Bichhoo was being made, I asked Guddu bhaiyya (director) why you were killing my character. Because in those days, people would get upset if the hero dies in the end. At that point, he believed that we should keep it like that. I think it did well but if my character had not died in the end, it would have done better. Even the music, Guddu bhaiyya had a great sense of music.”

This Bobby and Rani movie is a remake of the 1994 film Léon: The Professional. Produced by Guddu Dhanos, the screenplay of the film is written by Dilip Shukla. The film also stars Farida Jalal and Malaika Arora in pivotal roles. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more on this and everything else in the world of streaming and films.
