Several months ago, Pinkvilla announced that Wamiqa Gabbi would take on the role of the female lead in the upcoming film. According to a source who spoke to the entertainment portal, Wamiqa Gabbi is expected to leave a notable impression in cinemas, having already garnered audience interest in the OTT space with her performances in titles like Bhooth Bangla and Baby John. In Bhooth Bangla, a comedy film, she plays a key role, and she has confirmed her involvement in the project.

Priyadarshan, in collaboration with producers Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Cape of Good Films, which is Akshay Kumar's production company, presents Bhooth Bangla to audiences. The film is produced by Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali. The screenplay was crafted by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan, with the story penned by Akash A. Kaushik. Additionally, Rohan Shankar is responsible for the dialogue.
