While we wait for the Diwali double dhamaka as Kartik Aaryan-Vidya Balan-Madhuri Dixit starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 as well as Rohit Shetty's Singham Again release in theatres at once, currently the former has an edge in terms of Box Office. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 advance bookings were open and the results for day one are out. The movie has minted a little over Rs. 1 crore in advance booking so far, while Singham Again's advance bookings are not open yet. Surprisingly, Gujarat is leading in Box Office collections, followed by, of course, Maharashtra and UP.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 re-introduces Vidya Balan to the franchise as Manjulika, while Madhuri Dixit is the newest entrant as the second Manjulika. With 1447 shows and 17906 tickets sold, the movie has an advance booking of Rs. 1.09 crores so far, according to Sacnilk. The movie is a horror-comedy available only in Hindi across India.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 performs best in Gujarat

This might come as a surprise but Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is working well in Gujarat so far, in comparison to Maharashtra. With 14 almost full shows (and 6 filling fast) already, the film has minted Rs. 23.12 lakhs from Gujarat itself. It is also to be noted that the most shows (447) are available in Gujarat. Despite almost half the shows available (266), Maharashtra contributed Rs. 22 lakhs in advance booking of the film, and five shows are filling fast. The third surprise comes in the form of Uttar Pradesh, where despite 169 seats only, the film earned Rs. 17.99 lakhs in advance booking, with 13 shows almost full and five shows filling fast. If counting Delhi-NCR, it would contribute nearly 31 lakhs, with 14 almost full shows and seven filling fast. With only two screens allotted, Odisha ranks lowest, contributing to merely Rs. 240 in advance booking on day one.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 budget

Made on a budget of Rs. 150 crores, Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 goes grand this time around. This is mainly because of the dual surprise in Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, and another special appearance that is not yet revealed. Given the budget and the current collections, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has a long way to catch up, but then again, this is just the beginning.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 clashes with Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor in pivotal roles. Both are a Diwali release and will be out on the very same day i.e. on Friday, November 1.
