Berlin: Aparshakti Khurana-starrer comes with 'sea of questions'; will they lead to the truth? Check out new poster

Aparshakti Khurana, Rahul Bose, and Ishwak Singh's film Berlin got a green signal from the masses upon its OTT release. The spy thriller, which was screened at many film festivals, got a direct-to-OTT release on ZEE5. Directed by Atul Sabharwal, the movie follows the story of a deaf-mute man Ashok Kumar, who is accused of being a foreign spy. Over a week after Berlin's premiere, the streaming platform shared an intriguing poster of the Aparshakti-starrer.

ZEE5 dropped a new poster of Berlin and it features the lead actors Aparshakti Khurana, Ishwak Singh, and Rahul Bose. The poster suggests that there 'sea of questions' in the storyline, however, the truth is yet to unravel. While sharing the poster, the streaming platform captioned its Instagram post: "Every question pushes him forward, but will they lead to the truth? (sic)."
The text on Berlin's new poster reads, "In this sea of questions, will the right answer surface?" In the Atul Sabharwal directorial, Aparshakti is seen as a sign language expert Pushkin Verma. On the other hand, Rahul Bose plays the character of an intelligence officer Jagdish Sondhi. Veteran actor Kabir Bedi essays the role of a bureau chief.

Speaking with Times Now, Aparshakti Khurana shared some insights about his character in Berlin. The actor said, "Pushkin, my character, is actually a sign language teacher in a school. He's asked by the authorities to crack a case, to investigate a situation where they've caught hold of someone who can't speak or hear, and that character, Ashok, is played by Ishwak Singh."
Khurana felt Berlin is an 'organic' and 'pure' film. "I think it's a very different way of storytelling, a quirky way, because sign language is such a significant tool for moving the story forward," he added. You can also watch this film with your OTTplay Premium subscription.
