Telugu web series Bench Life is all set to make its digital debut soon. The project, starring Vaibhav Reddy, Ritika Singh, and Charan Peri in pivotal roles, will begin streaming on Sony LIV from September 12. 

Bench Life to stream on Sony LIV

This is the second Telugu web series after Trisha Krishnan-starrer Brinda to stream on the popular online platform. It is expected that Bench Life will also be available in all south Indian languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada as well. With its mindful and light-hearted performances and new-age concepts, Bench Life is highly anticipated.

In Brinda, which debuted on SonyLIV on August 2, Trisha portrayed a police officer. It centres on a mythologically tinged police probe conducted in Andhra Pradesh. Along with Indrajith Sukumaran, actors Jaya Prakash, Aamani, Ravindra Vijay, Anand Sami, and Rakendu Mouli also star in the series.

Bench Life's trailer presents a humorous perspective on the frequently demanding realm of the corporate workplace. This hilarious comedy-drama, helmed by Manasa Sharma, is not simply about the easy-going attitude of today's youngsters; it is about young people finding purpose and new passions in the most unlikely places.

This series is sure to strike a chord with everyone who has ever second-guessed their professional decision since it strikes the ideal balance between humour and a fresh viewpoint on our workplace culture nowadays. The web comedy revolves around the funny lives of three software workers who want to be benched in order to avoid the challenges of their jobs- Balu, Meenakshi, and Ravi. But later, when the corporation decides to reduce staff as part of a cost-cutting exercise, their eagerness to be on the bench wanes. 

A talented cast of supporting actors like Tanikella Bharani, Rajendra Prasad, Tulasi, and Akanksha Singh lend enough emotional aspects to this series. Niharika Konidela has bankrolled Bench Life under the banner of Pink Elephant Pictures.
