Barkha Bisht has been in the entertainment scene for over ten years, primarily focusing on television. She's known for her roles in popular shows like Kya Mast Hai Zindagi, Sankatmochann Mahabali Hanuman, and Tum Saath Jab Apne. Besides her television work, she has also taken on supporting roles in several Bollywood movies. One of her notable appearances was in the 2014 film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which featured a talented cast including Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Richa Chadha, Gulshan Devaiah, and Supriya Pathak, among others.

Barkha shared a range of professional stories and experiences during her chat on the Siddarth Kannan podcast. One memorable moment was her interaction with the grandeur expert while on a Bhansali set. She noted that Ranveer Singh would often keep quiet when he was upset. Luckily, she didn't have to face that side of him, although she did witness it. She considers it a stroke of luck that he appreciated her, but she's also seen her fellow actors go through similar situations.

Barkha thinks it's due to Ranveer's personality, but she mentioned that Bhansali never treated him that way when asked if the director would ever lose his cool with the leading man. While his strong work ethic is widely recognized, it's important to also appreciate his upbeat demeanor and contagious laughter. Even when tensions run high, he has a knack for soothing people and keeping situations from spiraling out of hand.

The actor shared another story from the set, showering Ranveer with praise. She confidently described herself as a "one-take" performer on TV. But during the filming of Ram-Leela, she found herself doing 16 takes for just one shot. She was really worried that her career might be over when Ranveer stepped in to comfort her. Along with Deepika's 50 takes, Ranveer mentioned that he had done 30 himself. "You're doing great," he encouraged her.

Barkha shared that she and Ranveer often took breaks to talk about their backgrounds and families, but she never got the chance to work with Deepika on set.
