Filmmaker Karthick Naren is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Nirangal Moondru, starring Atharvaa, Rahman and Sarathkumar. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 22. Ahead of the release, you can revisit the filmmaker's debut directorial, Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, which became one of the much-talked-about crime thrillers in Tamil cinema. The film is available for streaming on Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium.

Director Karthick Naren is awaiting the release of his film Nirangal Moondru, a hyperlink crime drama. However, the director is no new face to crime thrillers. In fact, he made his directorial debut with the 2016 neo-noir crime thriller film Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. Coincidentally, the film also starred Rahman in the lead role, apart from fresh faces.

Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru revolves around three friends who run over someone with their car and try to get away with the crime. However, years later, a cop who was left disabled from the incident recounts the night of the accident, when two murders also took place. The film, eventually became a success, for its screenplay. If you would like to revisit the film, it is available for streaming on Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium. Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru had music by Jakes Bejoy and was remade in Kannada as Aa Drushya.

Nirangal Moondru to hit theatres on this date

Karthick Naren will be once again collaborating with actor Narain for Nirangal Moondru. The film will be a hyperlink crime drama, also featuring actors Atharvaa, Sarathkumar, Ammu Abirami, and others. Nirangal Moondru will be releasing on November 22 in cinemas near you.

Nirangal Moondru is produced by K. Karunamoorthy under the banner Ayngaran international. The technical crew consists of music by Jakes Bejoy, with Tijo Tomy handling the cinematography. Sreejith Sarang has edited the film.
