However, the release of the Mammootty-led film has been postponed to April 10, 2025, coinciding with the Vishu festival. This adjustment means that Bazooka will now compete with two Tamil films: Ajith Kumar's Good Bad Ugly and Dhanush's Idly Kadai at the Kerala Vishu Box Office.

Nevertheless, this places the Malayalam superstar's game thriller in direct competition with Tamil stars Ajith Kumar and Dhanush during the Vishu season.
Mammootty, a prominent figure in Malayalam cinema, commands a substantial fan base in the region, and his films typically achieve strong box office openings. However, other South Indian film actors, including Vijay, Ajith Kumar, and Allu Arjun, also enjoy considerable popularity in Kerala. Notably, Allu Arjun has garnered the nickname ‘Mallu Arjun’ despite being primarily a Telugu actor.
Ajith Kumar's Good Bad Ugly
Among the two Tamil stars, Ajith Kumar is likely to have a slight advantage due to his dedicated Thala fan base in Kerala. His films, characterized by stylish action sequences, have consistently made an impact in the state.

Dhanush's Idli Kadai
Dhanush's films have made a significant impact in Kerala, as evidenced by his recent directorial venture, Rayaan, which garnered Rs 3.65 crore during its opening week at the Kerala box office. In addition to directing, Dhanush also played a leading role in the film, which featured Kalidas Jayaram and Aparna Balamurali.
His forthcoming project, Idli Kadai, will see him share the screen with Nithya Menen, who was honored with the National Award for Best Actress last year.
