Chandra Hass has recently emerged as a new talent in Telugu cinema. As the son of renowned television actor Prabhakar, he made his debut in a film that unfortunately did not perform well at the box office; however, his acting and dancing abilities received considerable acclaim. Building on this recognition, he is now preparing for his second project, Barabar Premistha, which is an engaging village drama.

Barabar Premistha teaser review

The filming has concluded, and the esteemed director V. V. Vinayak has recently released the teaser, which appears to be quite promising. Taking place in the village of Rudraram, Telangana, the teaser features Chandra Hass in a quest for love. His action sequences and broad appeal are commendable, demonstrating significant enhancement in his emotional expressions.

The dialogue, "Nuvvu Nannu Kodathante Noppi Nee Kallallo Thelusthundentraa," suggests a profound intensity within the film. Although love stories are prevalent in Telugu cinema, Barabar Premistha introduces a distinctive blend of rural politics and an antagonist who complicates the protagonist's romantic endeavours, as indicated in the teaser.

Barabar Premistha cast and crew details

Arjun Mahi returns to the screen after an extended absence, portraying the main antagonist, while Meghana Mukherjee steps into the spotlight with her debut in a vibrant and entertaining role. Under the direction of Sampath Rudra, the film is set to transcend the conventional love story, featuring numerous unexpected developments.

Chandra Hass has commended the film's musical composition, asserting that Dhruvan’s background score will serve as a significant highlight. Producer Gayatri Chinni noted that although the budget was surpassed, they maintained a commitment to the film’s quality, ensuring that the action sequences are both realistic and expertly crafted.

Despite facing criticism for his conduct outside of the film set, Chandra Hass is confident that his portrayal in Barabar Premistha will alter public perceptions. The film is scheduled for release in early 2025. Further updates on this promising project will be provided soon.
