Aha is in no mood to slow down as it has been announcing originals one after the other. After streaming Dear Nanna, it announced a new original titled Balu Gani Talkies a few weeks ago. Now, the time has come for the makers to announce the OTT release date of the film.

Well, this happened on a very special note. The cast and crew of Balu Gani Talkies graced the Indian Idol 3 Telugu as special guests and announced the film's release date. As per the update, Balu Gani Talkies will stream on Aha from September 13, 2024.

Balu Gani Talkies is a period drama set in the early 90s when single screens were common in small towns of Telugu states. The poster showcases a box containing a film reel, and in the background, the ticket rate is mentioned as Rs 20.

Balu is the main character in the film, and he runs a single-screen theater. The hero is showcased as an ardent Nandamuri Balakrishna fan. Balu Gani Talkies is all about his troubles running that theater, even if he ends up having deep financial problems.

Vishwanath Sharma and Saranya Sharma are the main leads in this OTT film produced by Rise Entertainment. Popular music director Raghu Kunche will play a key role in this film. Balu Gani Talkies is written and directed by Vishwanath Prathap, and the music is by Smaran.

Sreenidhi Sagar is the producer of this film, which also has Rupak Pranav Tej as the co-producer. Aditya BN has composed the background score for this low-budget film, which will mostly feature actors popular in the OTT space.
