With Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk in the key parts and Neha Dhupia, Sheeba Chaddha, Neha Sharma, Vijaylaxmi Singh, and Faisal Rashid in supporting roles, the film screams an amazing cast. Hindi-language streaming of Bad Newz is now available on Prime Video.
Film's plot and cast highlights
The film's twisted plot is poised to take the streaming world by storm with its fun-filled, romantic comedy and outstanding soundtrack, creating an infectious wave at the box office. Based on real-life facts, Saloni Bagga (Triptii Dimri) discovers she is expecting twins from two separate fathers (Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk), in a rare instance of heteropaternal superfecundation. The two guys engage in a comical battle as they fight for Saloni's affection while coping with the bizarre revelation that follows.
Earier, in an interview with Indian Express, while talking about the subject matter of the film, Tiwari said that Somen Mishra, the head of creatives at Dharma and Dharmatics, found an article, and he got Ishita Moitra to write a draft on it, and they took that draft and did their own. Considering that Tarun Dudeja wrote it, they had a great time narrating a story about heteropaternal superfecundation, which is so uncommon that most people aren't even aware that it exists, between Ishita and Tarun's draft. They conducted an independent study to determine whether such a thing might actually occur.
Moral compass and CBFC certification
Regarding the moral compass of the movie, the filmmaker-actor stated that it is best to see the film in order to judge its moral compass. When viewers watch the movie, they will be able to see how the filmmakers handled it, which will provide a fair evaluation of their effectiveness. They are producing this film for a family audience, and the CBFC has granted them a U/A certificate, meaning that the censor has watched and given the movie its complete blessing. If anything was morally dubious, they would have readily called it out. The CBFC has not recommended any cuts, and the audience will perceive the material exactly as the censor did; it is fully present.
