Hrithik Roshan To Resume War 2 Shoot Post Recovery
For those who may not be aware, Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan are scheduled to engage in an elaborate dance number in War 2. It was during the filming of this particular song a few weeks ago that Hrithik incurred his injury, necessitating a recovery period. Recent reports indicate that Ayan Mukerji has returned to the set and is currently completing necessary scenes with a body double. The director is organizing the remaining filming schedule to accommodate Hrithik’s recovery. The star of Koi… Mil Gaya is anticipated to rejoin the production team by the end of this month.
A report from Mid-Day cited an insider who stated, “The patch shoot was conducted with body doubles and junior artists. Hrithik is still in recovery, participating in regular movement training and physiotherapy. He is expected to resume filming towards the end of April, pending approval from his medical team. Ayan is back on set with renewed focus.”
While Hrithik Roshan, known for his role in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, is currently sidelined due to an injury, Ayan Mukerji and his team are utilizing this period to finalize the post-production of the segments that have already been filmed. A source indicated, “The production team is optimistic about completing the film by May. Although the timeline is tight, YRF [Yash Raj Films] is adept at handling extensive schedules. Hrithik is under close observation, and the dance sequences will only recommence once he has fully recovered. The film is set to premiere as planned on August 14.”
War 2 Release Date Confirmed
To provide an update, War 2 is nearing the completion of its filming phase. The shoot for a special song featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR has been rescheduled to May 2025. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, who has been committed to this project for an extended period, the film continues to build significant excitement.
In an unexpected development, a fan-made video promoting the film caught the attention of YRF on X (formerly Twitter). The subsequent response surprised many. The official YRF account replied to the fan's tweet, casually revealing the film's release date.
The tweet stated: “We must say... you have set it up brilliantly even before we’ve started our marketing of #War2. There will be mayhem in cinemas on 14 August 2025, worldwide.”
