Varun Dhawan’s highly awaited actioner Baby John has been making headlines ever since it was announced. The film also stars Keerty Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in important roles. Recently, the makers revealed the first look and it left netizens mighty impressed. Now with Salman Khan's cameo in it, the audience is super excited to watch the film on the big screen. According to a new report, it is revealed that the special scene with Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan is being directed by the Jawan fame director Atlee. The Baby John team is gearing up for the grand cameo scene in Mumbai today, October 6.

Atlee to direct Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan's scene

Varun Dhawan's Baby John is being helmed by Kalees but the new development suggests that filmmaker Atlee will direct Salman Khan's cameo scene. According to Pinkvilla, the Baby John team is shooting for Salman Khan’s cameo scene in Mumbai today. The source also revealed that the shoot will last for two days and will feature Bhaijaan at his peak in this mass cameo that is set to be shot on a mega set. Notably, Atlee conceptualized the entire cameo for Kalees’ directorial venture.

“While Baby John is helmed by Kalees, the cameo of Salman Khan, alongside the combination scenes with Varun Dhawan are being directed by Atlee himself. In fact, the entire cameo sequence of Salman is written, conceptualized, and executed by Atlee,” a source told the portal.

The source also revealed that a grand set has been up at a studio in Mumbai’s Andheri and the cameo will be a delight for the fans. Expressing excitement for hosting Salman, the source added, “The sequence has dialogues, action, and a fun camaraderie between SK and VD. That’s not all, a grand entry too has been designed keeping the larger-than-life aura of Salman in mind.”

Baby John is slated for a Christmas release on December 25, 2024. Fans can expect the trailer to drop around Diwali. The action film is anchored by Varun Dhawan, alongside the supporting ensemble of Jackie Shroff, Sanya Malhotra, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Keerthy Suresh in pivotal roles.
