Baby John box office performance: The film featuring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi has faced challenges at the box office. Although it premiered on Christmas Day and benefited from an extended weekend, its performance has been underwhelming. As a remake of Theri, the film garnered mixed reviews upon its release. According to the latest information from Sacnilk.com, Baby John has now surpassed the ₹35 crore milestone on the first day of 2025.
Baby John box office update
The report indicates that Baby John generated ₹ 2.87 crore based on preliminary estimates on its eighth day of release. The action thriller has yet to achieve double-digit collections following its opening day, and the likelihood of this occurring after a week appears slim. On its debut, Baby John amassed ₹ 11.25 crore, marking the highest single-day collection for the film to date. However, there was a significant decline in earnings from the second day onward, with little improvement observed over the weekend. The total collections currently amount to ₹ 35.52 crore.
In contrast, Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 The Rule is outperforming Baby John, having collected approximately ₹ 12.63 crore on the same day at the box office.
Baby John review
“The film begins in a rather disjointed manner, lacking any emotional depth for the first 40 minutes. There is a noticeable absence of direction, and the charming girl who takes charge of her father fails to make an impact. Atlee, known for his previous directorial works such as Jawan and Theri, is the creative force behind this narrative. The protagonist, who portrays a dual role, appears to be a recurring choice for Atlee, as evidenced by his collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan.”
