In the realm of fictional and fantasy television, Baalveer holds the distinction of being the longest-running series. The first season aired from October 8, 2012, to November 4, 2016. The second season, titled Baalveer Returns, was broadcast from September 10, 2019, to June 30, 2021, serving as a direct prequel to the current season. The third season aired from March 18, 2023, to September 9, 2023, acting as a spiritual continuation following Baalveer Returns. Season 4, known simply as Baalveer 4, was available for streaming on Sony LIV from May 6, 2024, to July 23, 2024, continuing the narrative from Baalveer 3. Following the conclusion of Season 4, the announcement of a fifth season, titled Baalveer 5, was made.

In Season 4, Krinkaal Lok is revealed to be a villain, though he remains unaware of this fact. Baalveer successfully rescues his father, Bhasma, from Krinkaal's grasp after navigating numerous challenges. However, Bhasma subsequently unleashes chaos on Earth. Baalveer ultimately causes Bhasma to lose consciousness. Benam informs Baalveer that Bhasma's past includes serving as a soldier for Shashwan Lok, with his true desire being to ascend to the throne of the world. He deceived Benam into marrying him under the pretense of love and killed her father using a bhasm trident. Meanwhile, a new adversary named Param has emerged, intent on eliminating the last Baalveer. Param gains strength by murdering Baalveer's mother, Benam. The audience will witness the challenges Baalveer faces as he strives for victory in the final episode.
