Tiger Shroff is ready to showcase his athletic prowess on screen once more, this time as a rebel, four years after the release of Baaghi 3, the third installment in his action franchise.

Midday has learned from an inside source that production will commence on the film once Sikandar and Housefull 5, the forthcoming two films by producer Sajid Nadiadwala, have concluded. Housefull 5 will begin filming next month, and Sikandar is currently in production. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we expect Baaghi 4 to be released later this year or early next year.

Even though Sabbir Khan and Ahmad Khan have directed films in the past, the producers have not yet chosen the director for the next installment, according to the tabloid.

The insider revealed that the scripting for the film will start shortly. The next step after confirming the director is to discuss potential leading ladies for the franchise, which has previously featured Shraddha Kapoor and Disha Patani.

Announcement teaser released by Tiger Shroff

Shroff released an announcement teaser for Baaghi 4 on his social media pages earlier this year. The clip compiles his action scenes from the first three films. It also showed how he battled for what was most important to him—his loved ones—and even against an entire nation. The video featured all of his violent dialogue as well as fighting sequences. Finally, Baaghi 4 rolled onto the screens, and it announced the next chapter in the film franchise.

Shroff said in his video post that the franchise is both his favourite and most difficult project to date. Despite its emotional investment, he admitted that it was the franchise he cared about the most, and he reached this point because of his fans' affection.

Success and star-studded cast of Baaghi franchise

The Baaghi film series has worked extremely well at the box office. In addition, numerous actors have appeared in this film series, including Shraddha Kapoor, Disha Patani, Riteish Deshmukh, Ankita Lokhande, Randeep Hooda, Manoj Bajpayee, and Vijay Varma. 

Since the Baaghi 4 cast is still unknown, it will be fascinating to see if any of the previously mentioned stars return for the upcoming movie.

Shroff will next appear in Singham Again, which is slated to release during the Diwali 2024 weekend.
