As per preliminary estimates from Sacnilk, Azaad garnered Rs 1.85 crore on its third day, bringing its total collection to nearly Rs 5 crore. The film appears to have been impacted by its competition with Emergency, which has reportedly earned around Rs 12 crore over the same three-day period.

Regarding Azaad, it is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor. The cast also includes notable actors such as Ajay Devgn, Diana Penty, Piyush Mishra, and Mohit Malik.

In a conversation with India Today, Aaman Devgan expressed his feelings about working alongside his uncle, Ajay Devgn, in Azaad. He recounted his initial day on set, stating, "I felt extremely nervous on the first day of shooting because I struggled to separate the character from the superstar he is. I would just look at him and feel anxious, thinking, 'How will I perform in front of him?' At that moment, I saw only Ajay Devgn, the star, not my family member. I kept reminding myself to stay calm."

Following the conclusion of Azaad's theatrical run, the film is set to premiere on Netflix.
