Azaad box office collection day 1: Rasha Thadani, the daughter of Raveena Tandon, has made her significant entry into Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor's film. At just 19 years of age, she appeared alongside Aaman Devgan, the nephew of Ajay Devgn, in the movie titled Azaad. The film premiered in theatres on January 17, 2024, coinciding with the release of Kangana Ranaut's political drama, Emergency. This competition led to a sluggish opening for Azaad at the box office.

Azaad box office report day 1

Early estimates from Sacnilk indicate that the film Azaad, featuring Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan, achieved an opening box office collection of Rs 1.5 crore. This figure is lower than that of Kangana Ranaut's Emergency, which garnered Rs 2.35 crore.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad revolves around the story of a young boy with a spirited horse. The young boy's quest to ride the majestic horse eventually becomes a journey of courage. In this film, Rasha plays the role of Janaki, and Aaman is seen as Govind.

Rasha Thadani on mom Raveena's advice

Recently, Rasha conveyed the invaluable guidance imparted by her mother, Raveena, prior to her film debut. She stated, "There are many important lessons to consider—remaining humble is essential not only in the film industry but in life as a whole. However, one significant piece of advice my grandmother shared, which my mother also emphasized, is that the director is the authority on set. It is crucial to listen attentively without interjecting. There is no need to offer input; rather, one must yield and heed the director's instructions, as he possesses a vision and expertise in his craft," the emerging actress expressed to Filmfare.

The film Azaad is set to have a digital premiere following the conclusion of its theatrical run. It is anticipated to be available on Netflix within 45 to 60 days after its release in theatres.
