A beloved film is making its way back to theaters! Directed by the amazing Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and featuring the talented trio of Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon, and Rajkummar Rao, Bareilly Ki Barfi is hitting the big screen again on February 7, 2025. This charming tale filled with love, laughter, and great chemistry is returning after six years, and it’s clear that it has a dedicated following.

Bareilly Ki Barfi: A unique love triangle set in Bareilly

In Bareilly Ki Barfi, Bitti (Kriti Sanon) is on a mission to reach out to the author she has a crush on, with the help of Chirag (Ayushmann Khurrana). Things get funny when Chirag starts to fall for Bitti and tries to win her heart. Set in the quaint town of Bareilly, Bitti is a free-spirited girl who lives life by her own rules and isn’t interested in the pressure to settle down. Her life takes a turn when she crosses paths with Pritam Vidrohi (Rajkummar Rao) and Chirag Dubey.

Bitti Mishra, a Brahmin girl from Bareilly, is head over heels for the author Pritam Vidrohi because she admires his forward-thinking views. But tracking him down isn’t easy. So, she decides to ask Chirag Dubey, who runs a local printing shop, for help in her search for love.

Key highlights of the characters in Bareilly Ki Barfi

Ayushmann Khurrana plays Chirag Dubey, a nice guy who can be a bit selfish at times. He starts to fall for Bitti and begins writing her letters, but he feels bad for using Pritam to get closer to her. Kriti Sanon takes on the role of Bitti Mishra, a strong-willed woman who pushes back against the norms of a male-dominated society. She finds herself in love with Pritam and is excited to be with him. Rajkummar Rao plays Pritam Vidrohi, Bitti's love interest, who is a naive salesman but ends up getting caught up in Chirag's schemes and becomes a tough guy.

The cast also includes Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa in key supporting roles.
