Amaran is one of the must-anticipated films this year, with actor Sivakarthikeyan headlining the film. Written and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on October 31. Ahead of this, the makers are planning to conduct an audio launch in the coming days. The event is scheduled to take place in Chennai on October 18, with formal announcement expected to be made out soon.

Amaran audio launch event

Sivakarthikeyan will be starring in his first ever biopic in his career with Amaran. The film is based on the life of late Mukund Varadarajan, a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. He was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his operation with the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion.

The film is scheduled to hit theatres on October 31. Ahead of this, the makers are planning to conduct a grand audio launch event on October 18. Sai Ram Engineering College in Chennai is fixed as the venue for the event which will see the presence of cast and crew of Amaran. An official announcement on the same is expected to be made out soon.

Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, Amaran is produced by Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films International. Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, and Lallu are also part of the cast. GV Prakash is scoring the music for the film.

The makers have begun the promotions for the film, with the team releasing episodic conversations recorded with the cast and crew of Amaran. The film’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Netflix. The technical crew consists of cinematography by Ch Sai, with R Kalaivanan as the editor.

Amaran will be sharing the box office along with Jayam Ravi-starrer Brother and Bloody Beggar featuring Kavin. All the three films will be releasing for Diwali. Sivakarthikeyan’s transformation in Amaran, which is expected to be high on action, has already garnered much attention among his fans.
