Atlee is presently engaged in the promotion of his inaugural production, Baby John, featuring Varun Dhawan and the entire cast. During this hectic promotional period, he revealed details about his upcoming directorial project. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Atlee mentioned that he is nearing completion of the script and that a significant announcement is forthcoming. He stated, "A6 requires considerable time and effort. We are nearly finished with the script and are currently in the preparation phase. A major announcement will be made soon, with the blessing of God."

In response to inquiries regarding Salman’s involvement in the film, the director subtly affirmed this, stating that "it’s going to be the proudest film of our country." He further remarked, "I am certainly going to astonish everyone with the casting. What you are speculating is indeed accurate, but you will be genuinely surprised. I do not wish to sound arrogant, yet it will be the most commendable film representing our nation. We seek your blessings, so please keep us in your prayers. The casting process is nearing completion and will be finalized in a few weeks. An exceptional announcement will be made shortly."

Ultimately, he remarked that Atlee is labouring "relentlessly, quietly, and humbly."
