Mr. Bachchan is Ravi Teja's new film that hit the screens on August 15, 2024. Harish Shankar directed the film which has ended as a big flop at the box office. We at OTTplay have already reported that the makers, People Media Factory will lose big money and they along with director Harish have decided to return a part of their remuneration to a few distributors who faced massive losses.
Eagle now trending on OTT
On the other hand, Mr. Bachchan is in the headlines as news has come out that the film will have an early OTT release. At such a time, yet another film by Ravi Teja, Eagle is trending on OTT. Eagle was out on ETV Win a few months ago and had a solid response.
A few days ago, Aha grabbed the rights to Eagle for a fancy price and has made it available for streaming. Ever since Eagle landed on Aha, it has not been always in the top three list. The first spot has been taken by Indian Idol 3 Telugu and the second in line is Eagle.
The special aspect of this is that Eagle was a massive flop in Ravi Teja's career. Karthik Ghattamaneni directed this film which was also produced by People Media Factory, the makers of Mr. Bachchan. Ravi Teja played a contract killer in this film and his look and performance were appreciated a lot.
But sadly, the film did not click at the box office. It has been quite some time since Ravi Teja has given a hit. It was way back in 2022 that he scored a hit with Dhamaka. Since then, all his films have flopped at the box office. He is now working in the direction of Bhanu, who last made Sree Vishnu's Samajavaragamana.
The film's shoot is on in Hyderabad as of now and the news is that Ravi Teja will be seen in yet another solid role. Well, we need to see how this film of his will work at the box office or not. For now, Eagle is trending on Aha and is gaining a lot of streaming minutes. Watch this space for more.
