Idly Kadai, the new Tamil movie featuring Dhanush, who’s also taking the director's seat, just added a fresh face to the cast. Arun Vijay, known for his role in Vanangaan, is now part of the team. Plus, with a new poster out, the Idly Kadai crew confirmed that the film is set to hit theaters on April 10, going head-to-head with Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly.

Dhanush's Idly Kadai just got an exciting update: Arun Vijay is on board

Dhanush, the actor who's diving into directing, is busy with his third film, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, which is set to hit theaters on February 21. On top of that, he's already got his fourth project in the works called Idly Kadai.

On Saturday, the team behind Idly Kadai revealed that Arun Vijay is now part of the cast. They also dropped a fresh poster showing Arun Vijay in a boxing ring, with Dhanush right next to him. This will be the first time these two actors are collaborating, which is pretty exciting!

Idly Kadai is being produced by Dawn Pictures along with Wunderbar Films and includes a talented lineup featuring Rajkiran, Samuthirakani, Nithya Menen, and more. The film's music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, and it’s set to be a family drama.

Idly Kadai is set to hit theaters on April 10, the same day Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly is also coming out. With the new poster confirming the release date, we’re in for a treat with two big films dropping on the same day.

The team behind Idly Kadai includes Kiran Koushik as the cinematographer and Prasanna GK taking care of the editing. This film marks the second collaboration between Dhanush and Nithya Menen after their successful project Thiruchitrambalam. You can catch Idly Kadai on SunNXT and the OTTplay Premium app.
