ARM emerges triumphant this Onam; Kishkindha Kaandam earns more praise

With its Onam films, Malayalam is now poised to make a box office comeback after a lacklustre three months with fewer releases and box office failures. This holiday season, four movies—Ajayante Randam Moshanam, Kishkindha Kaandam, Kondal, and Bad Boyz— hit the big screens. Only two films, though, seem to be winning over viewers and drawing audiences to theatres due to a number of positive reasons.
ARM and Kishkindha Kaandam receiving praise in theatres
Although Tovino Thomas' Ajayante Randam Moshanam emerged victorious in the Onam box office collection, Asif Ali-starrer Kishkindha Kaandam is garnering appreciation for both its storyline and acting performances.
At the box office, the historical fantasy film with Tovino Thomas in the lead role is quickly becoming a smash hit. According to reports, ARM, which was directed by Jithin Laal, made more money on Day 2 at the box office than it did on Day 1 because of favourable reviews and publicity through word-of-mouth. According to recent updates, Ajayante Randam Moshanam crossed the Rs 13-crore mark at the box office.
Kishkindha Kaandam, meanwhile, earned Rs 1.12 crore in just two days. However, given the positive reviews, a spike in the number of shows is anticipated in the upcoming days. It's reasonable to predict that both films will bring large audiences to theatres this holiday season.
Pepe’s Kondal makes decent box office numbers on Day 1
The Antony Varghese film, Kondal, did well in its first day at the box office, earning an estimated Rs 0.55 crore in India, based on Indian box office tracker Sacnilk. Due to its release date being a day later than both ARM and Kishkindha Kaandam, the movie is anticipated to make more money at the box office in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the public is giving Omar Lulu's directorial Bad Boyz unfavourable reviews on social media. A number of viewers expressed their dissatisfaction with the film, which stars Dhyan Sreenivasan, Sheelu Abraham, Bipin George, and Rahman.
