Good Bad Ugly – Theatres (April 10)

Good Bad Ugly is an anticipated action drama starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role. The storyline is expected to focus on a reformed gangster compelled to revert to his former life of crime when his son faces peril.

Perusu – Netflix (April 11)

Perusu is a Tamil adult comedy-drama featuring actors Vaibhav, Sunil, Niharika NM, Bala Saravanan, and Deepa Shankar, among others. The story centers on a highly esteemed elderly man in a village whose unexpected death is marked by a post-mortem erection. Directed by Ilango Ram, the film is slated for a Hindi remake by Hansal Mehta.

Pravinkoodu Shappu – SonyLIV/ OTTplay Premium (April 11)

Pravinkoodu Shappu is a Malayalam black comedy crime thriller directed by newcomer Sreeraj Sreenivasan. The film features performances by Soubin Shahir, Basil Joseph, and Chemban Vinod Jose, among others, and centers on a mysterious death that takes place in a toddy shop. Following the discovery of the owner's body hanging, the police launched an investigation involving eleven individuals who were present in the shop during the night of the incident.

Kingston – ZEE5/ OTTplay Premium (April 13)

Kingston is a maritime fantasy adventure drama featuring GV Prakash Kumar, who not only stars in the film but also serves as its producer and composer. Directed by Kamal Prakash, the narrative centers on a fishing village where the sea is deemed off-limits due to local superstitions about a curse. Undeterred, the main character, along with his friends and romantic interest, embarks on a journey into the forbidden waters to uncover hidden truths from the past. The cast includes Divya Bharathi, Ilango Kumaravel, and Chetan, among others.

Madurai Paiyanum Chennai Ponnum – Aha Tamil/ OTTplay Premium (ongoing)

Madurai Paiyanum Chennai Ponnum is a currently airing web series featuring Kanna Ravi and Angelin in the principal roles. This series artfully combines humor, emotional depth, and elements of Tamil culture. Set in the lively environment of Tamil Nadu, it is a touching romantic comedy that delves into the cultural and personal contrasts between a boy from Madurai and a girl from Chennai. The series is directed by Vignesh Pazhanivel.
