Applause Entertainment, known for intense dramas like Scam 1992 and Black Warrant, is now aiming for a younger crowd with their exciting new venture! Introducing ApplaToon, a fresh YouTube animation channel for kids aged 4 to 8, filled with lively stories, bright characters, and uplifting messages.

The channel is kicking off with its debut original animated series, Kiya & Kayaan, set to premiere on April 25, 2025. This series draws inspiration from the cherished Amar Chitra Katha Junior stories, creating a wonderful mix of traditional Indian storytelling and contemporary animation style. Featuring siblings Kiya and Kayaan in every adventure, the show aims to educate, entertain, and spark inspiration in young viewers through stories that reflect Indian values, history, and creativity.

The project is brought to life by creative producers Sameer Nair, Prasoon Garg, and Indrajit Chandra, while Preeti Vyas and Anindo Chatterjee take on the role of executive producers. Sanjeev Sahoo directs the series, with Yash Thakur writing the script, all conceptualized by the talented in-house team at Applause.

ApplaToon is making a bold move into kids' entertainment with Applause Entertainment, bringing fun and culturally rich content that kids will love. From after-school laughs to weekend cartoon binges, Kiya & Kayaan is sure to be a hit on every child's watchlist.
