Berlin, the espionage thriller is currently streaming on ZEE5 (OTTPlay Premium). After premiering at various film festivals, the movie had a direct OTT release. Starring Aparshakti Khurana, Rahul Bose, and Ishwak Singh, Berlin has been gaining attention ever since it was released. Now, within three days after its release, the film achieved an OTT milestone as shared by the streaming platform. 

Berlin receives overhwhelming love from fans

A while ago, ZEE5 shared a new poster of Berlin on their Instagram account. Sharing it, they mentioned that Aparshakti Khurana, Rahul Bose, and Ishwak Singh's espionage thriller clocked over 50 million watch minutes within three days of its OTT release.

The text on the poster read, "Everyone's locked on the Berlin case!"

While sharing the update, the streaming platform captioned it, "Espionage never looked this good – #Berlin has nailed the spy game! Streaming now only on ZEE5! #BerlinOnZEE5"

Reception to Berlin

Soon after the thriller was released, fans took to their X accounts and shared their reviews. One user called the movie ‘unique’ and showered praise on the cast performances. Another called it a well-executed slow-burn thriller. 

“Liked how the Brutalist part of Daalyy is captured in the movie. Aparshakti and Ishwak are superb, and quite enjoyed Deepak Qazir's part in the movie,” an X user wrote. 

Another fan commented, "Performances: Ishwak Singh and Aparshakti Khurana deliver compelling acts, with Khurana shedding his comedic image for a more serious, engaging role."

More about Berlin

The spy-thriller revolves around a web of lies, deceit, and secrets. The story follows a deaf and mute man, Ashok (played by Ishwak), who is accused of being a foreign spy. Things become more serious when a sign language teacher Pushkin (Aparshakti) is assigned the case and the government relies on him to unravel the secrets. Notably, Rahul Bose plays a government official named Jagdish Sondhi.

The cast also features Kabir Bedi, and Anupriya Goenka in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, The spy thriller film written and directed by Atul Sabharwal, produced by Zee Studios and Yippie Ki Yay Motion Pictures is streaming on ZEE5 (OTTPlay Premium).
